What lives there, in the secret city of your soul?
Who do you love,
Who do you abide,
Where is your eye,
Where is your ear,
Where is your heart,
Where is your mind, in the secret city of your soul?
What languages does it speak?
What music makes you dance?
What sound makes you start?
What does it take to move you, in the secret city of your soul?
How many live there?
Do they get along?
Do they even know of each other?
Do they know of me?
Would they like to come out and play?
Or do they hide there, in the secret city of your soul?

There are two worlds,
The day, the light,
The night, the dark.
Day is ours, shared with the sun, the wind, the rain,
And the truth.
They are the others
They forever own the night,
They have always ruled the darkness,
They feed on lies, and have forgotten that truth exists.
They forever own the night,
It is their domain,
We may pass through, if we are lucky,
But it is their empire
And their prison,
It is their throne
