Rob Lawrence
Feb. 4th, 2006 07:06 pmI have just been informed, via e-mail, that Rob has not passed. The emotional roller coaster is waiting for boarding. I have refused to delete anything already written, because the emotions and the heart of it is still true.
I got word only moments ago that Rob Lawrence has passed on this afternoon. It is hard to know how many people knew Rob Lawrence, but he entertained thousands with his virtuosity. He worked at "Comedy Sportz" from the beginning, he also did Murder Mysteries and even helped with the TV project "KBOB." He was an improv artist who never took the easy way, never went for the simple joke. He strove for creativity in all things. Beyond that he was a truly sweet and gentleman who I regarded as a friend for so many years. To you, Rob, time to move on to the next frame. We will miss you.
