There are miracles around us everyday that we don't even notice. The last time you watched a worthwhile movie or TV show it was the exception rather than the rule. When I eat Funyuns or Swiss Creme Rolls I know there is something wonderful that I refuse to overlook. When I hear Mozart or the Beatles or the Andrews sisters I know that we are all given great gifts that we must never discount. When I read good books or comic books or a Dave Barry column I know why Benjamin Franklin said, "Beer is proof that God not only loves us, but wants us to be happy." Stop, right now, and look around there is love and hope and happiness waiting to be enjoyed by you. There are wonders that we all miss if we don't take time to see them. People go through a lifetime of living in New York without ever visiting the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty. The same is true throughout the world and we all should turn our eyes on the glory that is right next door. Don't ignore miracles just because you can see them. Listen to kinds of music you have never considered, go to art galleries and visit works of art that are not what you would think of a "your kind" of art. Discovery is the first miracle. Go, enjoy!
