I cannot tell you how many people thought this should be the first on the list, for those folks I saved it as a Christmas present. It has everything going for it that any series that was canceled and shouldn't have been should. It is character driven, wry, intelligent and warm. Plus there is no little adventure! Plus there is the hero of Canton!
Just the thing to watch when you aim to misbehave!

This one was unlike anything we had seen before. A true homage to the Celtic England that so many of us adore.
Celtic mysticism, Druidism, early Christianity, Roman Mythology and just the right amount of politics to keep everyone dishonest. Oh, and did I mention Heath Ledger?
