Before "Quantum Leap" there was Time Tunnel. Irwin Allen saw it as a great way to use stock footage from historical epics, but for fans it was the incredible idea of two men lost in time, always searching for a way home. Heady stuff for the time. And it featured one of my favorite "Wait a minute, I've seen that guy, who is he?" actors Whit Bissell!
And for all the crap Irwin Allen put out, this was the one they canceled in one season!
(The box says Volume One, but they made more episodes back then)
