A question.

I have friends who are involved in Elizabethan history, others who know a lot about the Civil War, others who are obsessed with World War II. Mostly these are folks who use this knowledge in concrete terms. I have written stories where I had to research Tsarist Russia, Howard Hughes, Little Big Horn, Jack the Ripper, Gilbert and Sullivan and others, and the world's around them. I, as an avowed history geek, loved diving into those worlds. If you had the free time and the resources, what period or incident in history would you love to become a true expert about?
