Sort of a pleasant rant.

Any man who never says "Thank you" or "I'm sorry" is a man who thinks just a little to much of himself and not enough of his link to the world. So this is my time to say I am thankful to all those folks who make me aware that I have purpose and meaning in the world. Maybe I am not a world shaker, but I have had an effect on people's lives and some of it good. For that I am grateful. For the negative effects I have caused I am sorry. To those I didn't have time for, or was too short with I am truly sorry. For those days I hurt to much to listen as much as I should, you have my heartfelt apology. And when I say hurt I mean emotionally as well as this worn out body of mine acting up. We are all hurt from time to time, we all wish we were not as flawed as we are, but we soldier on and try. Sometimes I don't try hard enough. I will continue to work to becmoe better, to learn to give more freely and lift my head to answer the needs of others. You folks give me the courage and power to do that. Thank you. May your days outnumber the stars and may each one be better than the last. And, when you come to the end of those days, may you look back upon your life and feel as lucky as I do for all you have been privileged to have to have known and loved and seen that love returned.
