bountifulpots
questions and my answers Questions 1. Who do you look to for mentoring when you need it?
2. How did YOU learn to figure things out and meddle with them until you understood them?
3. What do you miss most about doing Faire?
4. What advice would you give about parenting, if you were asked (which you are, right now)?
5. How can you honestly think you love me most? ;)
Answers 1. There are only two people I look to for anything. You and your mother. I try to learn from everyone, but you two are the only ones I trust absolutely.
2. I learned that from my father. He wouldn't fix things for me, but taught me that I had to figure things out. He did the same thing. He built his very first car from scratch and tried to drive it to California. He forgot to put lights on it and he and my Uncle Bob went off the road and thought the oil all over them was blood. He always thought about lights after that.
3. Mornings. I love the performing, the singing (this was the first place I could really be accepted as a singer) but it is the morning, before the gates open that I remember most. It was an important community. People who understood what was really important. People.
4. Don't give them everything. The world will not, and if they don't get used to that idea, its going to be a terrible shock. Always remember that they are you. What you do, they will do. Those things you want them to become you must be first.
5. Do you love Brie most? Case closed.
