Music has more of an affect on me these days. Soulful blue versions of Cole Porter, Billie Holliday and such rip me up. "2am Paradise Cafe" is hard to listen to, and "When October Goes" brings far too many tears. I have always found solace in this music, and will again I am sure. But just now it is having more direct contact with my heart than before. Classical & Opera also, all the truly emotional stuff just grabs me. Judy Collins' "In My Life" album takes me back to all my darkest days. Days when this music was my blanket. I don't understand it, or really try to. Life is what it is, and nothing is more unchanging than that it will change.
