Impromtu pome
Nov. 8th, 2004 11:25 pmThis world is full of impossible things,
Hatred and love both take wing,
Cocophanous ideas try together to sing,
And yet the sun still rises.
The stars are to far to hear,
We see their ghosts only I fear,
The sun swallows their light when its near,
But the day and night both bubble with surprises,
If nothing can be created or destroyed,
As many things becon as we should avoid,
Some things are given, some are deployed,
Hope is the greatest of our enterprises.
I'll never give up, I don't know how,
The time to stop will never be now,
We give what we can, until our last bow,
And the sun still rises.
Hatred and love both take wing,
Cocophanous ideas try together to sing,
And yet the sun still rises.
The stars are to far to hear,
We see their ghosts only I fear,
The sun swallows their light when its near,
But the day and night both bubble with surprises,
If nothing can be created or destroyed,
As many things becon as we should avoid,
Some things are given, some are deployed,
Hope is the greatest of our enterprises.
I'll never give up, I don't know how,
The time to stop will never be now,
We give what we can, until our last bow,
And the sun still rises.
