Thinking on the recession

Home cooking will become something inescapable, so people will have to learn to cook again. Entertainment will always be needed, with reading becoming a better value than ever before. Not new books, they are too expensive. But used books! And close to home, like from a neighborhood used bookstore. That might be a new boon. Walking will be on the upsurge since it will take miles off the gas tank. Conversation might even make a come back. Wouldn't that be great? People learning to talk to their neighbors again. That could be the greatest thing to come out of it. Then again, it might be that nothing changes and we continue to flush ourselves down the tubes. I hope that we take the growth way out of this.
