Sometimes,
When you look at me
I haven't a clue what's in your heart.
Are you angry,
I've given you more than enough reason to be.
Are you sad,
Lord knows there are things in the world that could make
The Lord himself frown.
Are you confused,
Why are any of us ever not confused?
How can I know what is really in your heart?
When I don't always know what is in my own heart.
All I can hope,
When all is sad and done,
That somewhere in your heart,
You'll find me.
